This Queen Anne fixer upper is like a travel through time.  We have the 1900 sleeping porch, 1920s basketweave bathroom tile, 1950s steel kitchen cabinets, and 1960s “colonial” hanging light fixture. The home needs work, but it holds a wealth of memories of the O’Connor family, who lived here for many years.

Family History

The O’Connor family were the original owners of this Queen Anne.  The home was built on a triple lot on Main Street next to a church soon after Edward O’Connor married Ida Kathryn MacGregor in 1897. The couple lived here with parents William O’Connor and Mary Fitzgibbon, brother Michael, son George and a German housekeeper. The O’Connor family farm was a 2,00o-acre spread east of town that included most of Fish Lake.
