This one needs a lot of work, and it is rather spooky, especially the basement. (Where does that arched door lead to?) The exterior, however, calls my name with the round window and sunburst pattern in the gable, multiple roof lines and bay window. A lovely white church is two doors down, and Maple Creek Recreation Area is just outside of town. It offers camper pads, trails, fishing, picnic shelters, a swim beach and no-wake boating.

You will have to appreciate small town living as Leigh, taken from the maiden name of the town’s first postmaster, only has 405 residents. Also, I did a bit of digging and discovered that this house was formerly the Leigh Memorial Funeral Chapel. No wonder the basement is spooky.
