The Sweetest Cheapish House For Sale in Tennessee $145K
July 30, 2023
OHU50K Notes $145,000
U-2’s Sweetest Thing kept playing in my head as I perused the photos of this darling house for sale in Tennessee. Sure, it has its issues, but from the curb appeal to the steel kitchen cupboards, it is a charmer.

Wow! It doesn’t happen very often that the smaller homes are left competely intact with almost everything the house came with. REPLACE NOTHING! Your nearest home salvage store can be you best friend for finding the odd bits that aren’t there anymore, like the little piece of green tile in the bath that most have broken away. Get it referbished instead and you will have a lovely time capcule home that is very livable. The linoleum in the kitchen and pantry is totally redoable. Don’t decide its a lost cause becuase that is the only thing I see that is needed a replacement. Art deco and tudor vibes everywhere. Gotta love it
Love it but wish that it had the original kitchen cabinets. Metal cabinets are what?50s…60s? I actually like some of the wallpaper but the light fixtures, not so much. Would definitely leave it mostly as is.
