I love the home’s curved staircase, but I especially appreciate the third floor balcony. A bunch of newer houses surround this old house, so I surmise the acreage was much larger in 1880 than its present 1.15 acres.  I’d like to think the beautiful old barn was once part of the parcel, and the farmer would stand on the home’s balcony to oversee his holdings.
