1844 Schwaben Creek Rd, Rebuck, PA, 17867
Here is an old farm house for sale on a rural 2.12 acres with a pond and views. I could be wrong, but viewing the Google Map street view, it looks like the home could have been part of a larger farm back in the day. The older home to the left was likely the first built farmhouse, then the 1920 or so foursquare perhaps was built for a son, and then the third house (the ranch) maybe around 1960. I’m just guessing.
Just down the road is one of Northumberland County’s four covered bridges. The c.1874 Himmel Church Covered Bridge (aka Rebuck Covered Bridge) is the southernmost covered bridge in the county. It’s painted in a candy cane fashion and is situated in a small community park in the middle of a beautiful valley.
