Under $75K Thursday – Circa 1890 Queen Anne Victorian For Sale in Elkton Village, MI Under $70K – Pending
OHU50K Notes $69,900 Pending
Someone took a giant magic sponge to this circa 1890 Queen Anne Victorian for sale in Elkton, Michigan, and foolishly wiped most of the interior clean of any 1890 character. At least they left the stunning staircase and the window seats in the several levels of the tower.

Town History
The Elkton area was originally known as Oliver Center when it was organized in 1877. The village itself was founded by blacksmith W. J. McGillivray in 1886 when he built the first house there. He named the town for an experience he had of killing a huge elk that had become entangled in his wife’s clothesline. Today Elkton, population around 800, is a thriving, close-knit, agricultural community.
